Eating and Drinking in La Giettaz

The dining experience at Chalet La Giettaz offers you a wide range of options to satisfy your stomach after a hard day's relaxation in the mountains.

Upon arrival, you will find your kitchen stocked with fresh milk, coffee, tea, juice, jam and some nibbles. Daily deliveries of fresh croissants, pains au chocolats and bread from the boulangerie are included in the price of your stay.

As you would expect from a traditional French village, we enjoy a fabulous range of local cheeses, meats and wine, which can all be enjoyed as part of our Savoyard selection, served beside the log fire in Bar L'Escale.  If you would like something more substantial, we also offer a 3-course menu, again served in the bar. We simply ask for 24 hours' notice for evening meals, as we buy fresh produce in as needed. 

Alternatively, if you prefer to cook yourselves, we also offer a twice-weekly grocery-shopping service, allowing you to get on with the important business of enjoying your holiday without worrying about making it to the supermarket before it closes. Our fully-fitted kitchens have all the cooking equipment you'll need, and you don’t even have to worry about the washing up: all our apartments have dishwashers fitted as standard!

Each evening, we’d be delighted to welcome you to Bar L’Escale for a drink or two.  We offer a selection of wine, liqueurs, beers and soft drinks for you to enjoy.

Lastly, if you fancy dining and drinking out, we will happily recommend and book you a table at one of the fabulous restaurants in the region.
