Group Cycling Holidays

Group Cycling Holidays at Chalet La Giettaz

Let us take the hassle out of organising your group cycling trip: before you travel, our specialist local knowledge will highlight some fabulous rides, with awesome views, quiet roads and the best café stops as standard! Minibus support is available, or you can simply roll out under your own pedal power: the choice is yours. And back at the chalet, you’ll find plenty of space for bike storage and maintenance.

On The Bike

The chalet is situated 4km from the summit of the Col des Aravis, a testing Category 2 climb that has featured in the Tour de France almost 40 times. With many other famous Cols within striking distance, we’ll help you plan a ride itinerary that will both challenge and excite you in equal measure, whether you are looking for a focused training camp to hone your fitness, or simply a relaxed break on the bike surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery.

Post-Ride Relaxation

Our welcoming bar area offers a great space to relax in the evenings – whether your idea of unwinding is a few drinks with nibbles, or a hearty meal to top up flagging energy levels. Add to this our sauna and jacuzzi – perfect for easing tired limbs after a day in the mountains – and you can be sure you will be ready to face the next day’s challenges relaxed and refreshed.

Food & Drink

Our cycling package offers an enhanced welcome hamper with plenty of cyclist-friendly extras, such as fresh fruit, eggs and cereal to set you up for each day on the bike. Daily morning deliveries of fresh bread and croissants are also included in the price of your stay. Accommodation is on a self-catering basis, but you can supplement this with dinner in the bar from a menu rich in carbs and recovery-friendly proteins. Alternatively, we are more than happy to arrange meals out in a selection of traditional Savoyard restaurants close to the chalet.
